ABOUT TOM MASSEY

As an Engineer (Maker) at Filament PD, I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of designers, engineers, and researchers to create innovative and user-centric products and solutions for various sectors, including consumer electronics, medical devices, mobility, and aviation. I apply my skills in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and user experience design to deliver high-quality prototypes, mockups, and wireframes, as well as to conduct user testing and feedback sessions.I also work as a Freelance Industrial Designer, offering my design consultancy services to clients from different industries and backgrounds. I have successfully completed multiple projects, ranging from bespoke protective solutions for airline pilots to wearable devices for health monitoring. I am passionate about applying my creativity, problem-solving, and technical skills to improve the lives of users and solve real-world challenges. I hold a BA and a DPS in Industrial Design & Technology from Loughborough University, and a Foundation degree in Art and Design from University of Northampton.
