Two decades in the news business laid the foundation for Verb Nerd Industries, my writing and editing business. I spent the second half of my news career at the San Jose Mercury News, where I caught the technology bug. I left the industry in 2009 and went solo, putting my writing and editing experience to work anywhere that needed it. I founded Verb Nerd Industries officially on Valentines Day, 2011. Since then I\'ve been doing this full-time.
