Happy to announce that Presize has now joined Meta (Facebook). On the left you can see me placing the first 2 (and only) monitors we had in our very first Presize office in 2019. The 3-year journey with Presize was a once-in-a-lifetime ride It has been one heck of a rollercoaster ride starting with 3 people, and growing to 50 employees with 100M+ size recommendations generated using our product. As we were sitting in Meta’s European HQ in London (picture on the right), it struck me… Who would have thought it leads to exiting to a company where we can continue to work on our technology/vision and impact the life of 3.6bn users? We will keep helping users to find the right size when buying fashion online which ultimately also benefits small businesses and our planet I will continue to be based in Munich with regular trips to Tel Aviv, London and Menlo Park. My new role is Engineering Manager of the Fashion Team (which includes former Presizers and both of my co-founders) at Meta. As a product team we are responsible for helping connect fashion businesses with customers on Facebook and Instagram. The IG/FB Shops experience is already rolled out in the US. It’s hard to describe in words how much fulfillment all of this gives me. Entrepreneurship changed my life I will not mention every single person who supported us in the last years, but I do want to highlight: 1⃣ My co-founders @Leon Szeli and @Awais Shafique, thank you for convincing me to try this startup thing a second time and believing in me throughout the non-glamourous periods of our journey. 2⃣ Our amazing Presize team who made all of this possible with their tireless dedication and astonishing talent. PS Our 1st office was a tiny room, with no ventilation, hole in the sink, water goes through, a wobbly desk, and a door that doesn\'t close properly. Our neighbors would secretly sneak into the room and use it for their interns - good times!
