ABOUT TOM HENRY

Over twenty-five years of experience in auditing, including governmental auditing, working with small businesses and individuals for tax planning and preparation and financial planning matters. Regularly presents topics on tax and audit issues to a variety of trade and community groups. In addition to working with a wide variety of clients, he also serves as the firm\'s managing principal and oversees its quality control systems.Served in various capacities as a member of church-related audit and finance committees as well as on the board of nonprofit organizations. Served on the Audit Committee of the Tennessee Baptist Convention and is currently serving as the head of the Stewardship Team of his local church. Joined the firm of Stone, Rudolph and Henry, PLC, in 1985, and has been an owner since 1988. Earned the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation in 2001 and earned the Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP) designation in 2012. Published articles in the national publication, Computers in Accounting, dealing with automated audit and accounting techniques and developed automated tools used in the United States and United Kingdom.Specialties: Small business accounting, tax planning, financial planning (including Social Security planning), succession planning, entity selection, financial audits including governmental entities.
