Our range may have changed and evolved over the years, but our exceptionally high standards of care and expertise never will- Responsible for providing HR support to a team of around 200 colleagues and Managers at the Mitcham site- Managing a team of 2 (HR Advisor & Site Trainer)- Acting as Business Partner to the Site General Manager and the SLT- Driving HR excellence and process efficiency- Delivery of the people strategy, ensuring best practice HR excellence, supporting the delivery of business goals, and ensuring consistency and value added support in all areas of HR including Employee Relations- Delivery of collaborative working practices that deliver continuous improvement in all areas of HR operations- Ensuring simplification and simplicity in approach, to enable effective focus and delivery of business objectives- Supporting all central and support programmes to deliver best in class performance- Identifying the key challenges that the business is facing and aligning HR to deliver solutions- Management of the Hovis Apprenticeship programmeAchievements- Score of 85 on our most recent engagement survey with a response rate of 92%- Development of HR Assistant to HR Advisor through effective coaching and planning, HR Advisor now enrolled onto CIPD Level 5- Reduction of absence levels at site from 6% to an average of 1.5% through effective management and reporting- Negotiations and agreement with union for a new approach to payments for phased return to incentivise being back at work rather than off sick- Recruitment of Site Trainer to upskill and develop current workforce and ensure audit compliance in all areas.
