ABOUT TOM GALLITANO
As a member of the Management Committee at Conn Kavanaugh (a multi-specialty, 45-attorney law firm based in Boston), I focus on managing growth of the firm\'s practice areas, including a broad range of commercial litigation, business/real estate, employment law, white collar defense/regulatory compliance, and family law/estate planning/probate litigation. My own practice focuses on business litigation, professional liability, and employment law and litigation matters, especially litigation matters involving the recruitment and retention of key employees with technology firms and the protection of trade secrets and other confidential information. I also advise executives in all aspects of their career transitions. Professional responsibility representation also accounts for a significant part of my practice, representing a number of liability insurers defending claims of malpractice against their attorney insureds, as well as advising on ethical and professional responsibility matters and licensing. In addition, I have served as Chair of the Governor\'s Advisory Board to the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination since 2007.
