Along the way, I design the qualitative evaluations and data pipelines that let you train your own language models so they think, speak, and behave in all the ways you want them to. Born a writer and voracious reader of science-fiction novels, I transitioned into tech at an early age, christened on message boards, MMORPGs, and historic turn-based games. After rebranding a cloud-based SaaS and LMS for higher-ed, I sharpened into a copywriter with SEO acumen, and led the content strategy for enterprise-grade clients like Dolby Labs, and the American College of Surgeons. I\'ve co-led products at Google, and Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, designed and launched learning curricula geared toward ML scientists, full-stack A.I. developers, and open-source in general. In 2024, I steered the product design and \'agentic\' flow behind an A.I.\"meeting assistant\" for wealth advisors at the largest bank in the world. As a life-long language lover, and die-hard nerd at heart, I verse myself in the many uses and limitations of LLMs from OpenAI, Anthropic, China, and brainstorm with some of the brightest minds in the field today.    SubQ pioneers cutting-edge STT/TTS and post-Transformer LLMs, while training and serving AI advisors that internalize the spirit, wisdom, and methodologies of world-renown experts.• Architecting a production SMS and mobile AI platform where advisor personas—spanning parental coaching, wellness, business, and spirituality—operate with layered memory, and avoid sycophancy. • Designing \'cognitive flows\' for AI advisors that remember across sessions, reflect before they speak, and emotionally attune to each user\'s journey, in collaboration with a mental health PhD. • Building data enrichment pipelines for fine-tuning open-source models and post-Transformer architectures; deploying base models and LoRAs from HuggingFace onto Lambda GPU servers. • Developing a LLM-as-a-Judge evaluation framework that uses Gemini Flash 3, Qwen 3.5, and Kimi K2.5 to assess fine-tuned personas for character authenticity, therapeutic accuracy, emotional intelligence, and conversational cadence. • Implementing a voice-first pipeline with sub-second latency, barge-in detection, speculative RAG during speech, and dynamic VAD presets—enabling true speech-to-speech AI across SMS, web, and mobile. • Prototyping an agentic harness modeled after Pi, Claude Code, and other open-source frameworks (e.g. Hermes Agent); maintaining a company repo of model-agnostic Skills, and mentoring co-workers in the usage of Claude Code.
