I joined Nicholas Howard as a Technical Recruiter to service both contract and permanent requirements for a number of key clients within the business, including Lockheed Martin, Leidos, Specsavers, Takeda and Vertex. I have gone on to play a notable role in supporting several start-ups and SMEs as they embark on periods of significant growth, and I have been involved in many international recruitment projects, working with several organisations to identify and attract world-class talent from around the globe. This has included supporting international relocation and visa sponsorship processes. My role typically involves working on a selection of particularly challenging technical, IT and engineering requirements, from individual contributor up to board level. I operate a dual desk of both permanent and contract requirements in a full 360 capacity. This includes consulting with hiring managers to provide marketing intelligence and salary benchmarking, through to sourcing and selection of both active and passive candidates using a selection of modern recruitment tools, managing the interview and offer process, along with on-boarding and post-placement support. As a business, Nichoals Howard takes pride in working as a client specialist, seeking to embed into an organisation to learn the company culture, and support across a wide range of requirements rather than focussing purely on a few specific disciplines. The approach has resulted in NH securing several managed/RPO contracts over the years, enabling the development of much more direct and close relationships with hiring managers, building high levels of confidence in our ability to fill requirements, and the consultative service we provide.
