Leading the product strategy and delivery for Tesco\'s current (UFC) and Tesco’s future automation programmes (MFC), transforming in‑store fulfilment through robotics, optimisation, streamlined dispatch, and next‑generation colleague experiences.• Drove the vision and orchestration of Tesco’s next‑generation automated MFC ecosystem, integrating automation, predictive optimisation and intuitive colleague workflows.• Defined the product strategy for the automation roadmap, covering robotic item picking, automated marshalling, dynamic tote routing and exception handling.• Owned and delivered a multi‑year roadmap across build, optimisation and scale phases, aligned to operational KPIs, service ambitions and cost targets.• Partnered with UX to design new UI patterns for automated components (GTP, Decant, Marshalling and Dolly‑building).• Led deep user research across MFC colleagues, automation technicians and operations teams, surfacing pain points.• Worked with engineering to build the real‑time data foundations (telemetry, pipelines, APIs) that surface automation performance, exceptions and throughput to colleagues.• Collaborated with 3rd‑party automation partners to iterate requirements and ensure platform/robotics interoperability.• Created structured artefacts like epics, swim lanes, user stories and acceptance criteria to break down highly complex automation flows into deliverable increments.• Monitored key KPIs (pick rate, decant rate, leave on time, CTO) and used insights to continuously refine priorities.• Presented roadmap, KPIs and programme progress to senior engineering, operations leadership and governance forums.• Supported operational rollout, ensuring colleague readiness, effective training and successful adoption of new workflows.
