Marin Software is a U.S headquartered SaaS company. Since 2019 I have led HR + Talent Acquisition globally - ie Europe, US and APAC, reporting to the CEO. Headcount is approx-50% Tech, 30% Sales/Acct Mgt, 20% support functions -50% US, 30% Europe, 20% APAC Current role is Leading both HR and Recruitment globally -Drove Marin’s return to headcount growth and Org Design after a tough start to 2020 -75 new hires in 12 mths (personally hired >40)- focus across Tech/Engineering and Account Mgt. Attrition below 20%-Owned shift to remote first working in all our locations -Implemented initiatives which have seen tangible improvements in diversity of headcount -Embedded Intern / Grad programmes -Managed global restructuring during Covid Versed in the details of European + US HR inc employee relations, benefits (401k, Medical, RSUs etc) immigration and statutory reporting. I have also gained knowledge of the rules and norms in APAC, specifically China and Singapore and, to a lesser extent, Japan. Prior to this I lead HR for our European arm as we doubled in size to c. 200 inc a \"Tech hub\" plus integrated a French owned company we acquired. As the first senior HR employee in Europe, and reporting through the CFO, I had the autonomy to run the HR function for Europe both operationally and strategically, balancing the different cultures and expectations between the U.S and our European locations.
