I have served as the lead counsel in cases tried to juries involving issues of negligence, breach of contract, promissory estoppel, trespass, quasi contract, fraud, constructive fraud and punitive damages. I have tried bench trials involving issues of breach of contract, restrictive convenants, convenants not to compete, first amendment rights, establishment clause issues and conversion. I have participated in several arbitrations and countless mediations involving a number of these issues.I concentrate in the areas of commercial litigation, products liability defense, patent infringement, federal and state fraud issues including the False Claims Act, Stark Law and qui tam litigation, environmental insurance cost recovery actions, toxic tort litigation, ERISA litigation, shareholder disputes, trade secrets litigation, personal injury defense and class action defense.I also serve as outside general counsel to several Indianapolis based companies.
