At AKQA I manage development teams working on B2C and B2B projects for both global enterprise and smaller UK clients; I also started up and lead AKQA\'s Webflow specialisation to offer a cost effective solution for smaller website projects. Day to day I work directly with our design, development, QA teams and our clients to understand their requirements and provide solutions to meet and surpass their expectations. As a company we are technology agnostic, we don\'t specialise in one set of technologies or platforms; although we pursue MACH architectures as an overall methodology. The design, development and QA teams that I manage are adept at turning their hand to anything. It\'s meant I\'ve had to really hone my leadership skills as I know the teams I work with have a deep understanding of their art - far surpassing my knowledge - so I do not believe in micro-managing, but am more about leading, trusting, unblocking and assisting.Other than direct project work, I also instigated and lead an AI initiative as a proof of concept to increase our development workflow; I also lead the onboarding of lo/no-code platforms (Webflow specifically) to successfully deliver several projects that would otherwise have been outside clients\' budgets. This involved direct client training upon delivery, as well as mentoring our designers and developers in order to understand how to get the best out of the platform.
