Graduated with a double major in Marketing & Entrepreneurship, & a minor in Business of Entertainment, Media & Technology from NYU Stern. Recently completed a highly acclaimed debut as a director during a prestigious artist residency, showcasing a unique blend of technical prowess, cultural insight, & creative innovation. Additionally, I recently had my textile work showcased in a Gallery at Mana Contemporary, a museum at which I’ve exhibited audacious art installations that integrate my Afro-Fashion design into my immersive A/V experiences, establishing myself as a multidisciplinary artist with a unique & compelling creative vision. Career Highlights Artist Residency | IN7 @ Gardenship | June 1st - June 8th, 2024 Project:\"Black Madonna\"(Single & Short Film) Role: Director, Musician Details-Selected for the Gardenship residency program led by Kasia Skorynkiewicz & her team at IN7, marking a significant milestone as my first official directorial debut-Within 7 days, scouted locations, storyboarded, shot, scored, edited, & showcased the single & short film \"Black Madonna\"-Delivered a compelling & polished final product under high stakes, impressing both mentors & peers alike with my ability to execute a complex vision within a tight timeframe-The project was well-received, solidifying my position as a multidisciplinary artist capable of thriving under pressure & delivering high-caliber work. 1st Art Gallery Showing | Mana Contemporary | February 16th - June 21st, 2024 Show: MYRIAD Curator: Bryant Small Details-Exhibited two \"flags\"(embroidered Ankara textiles) from my inaugural capsule \"Ambient Abuse: The O3 Capsule\" at the MYRIAD showcase, curated by Bryant Small-The selected pieces,\"Glow(abuse).O3\" & \"Gnosis.O3,\" were showcased for four months at Mana Contemporary, located at Newark Ave, Jersey City, NJ-This exhibition marked my debut in the art gallery scene, highlighting my ability to translate audio-visual concepts into tangible art forms. Art Installations | Studio | April 30th, 2023 & May 19th, 2024: 1st Installation: Produced an immersive A/V experience for 40+ attendees, enabling interaction with my 8 Short Films/Music Videos via TouchDesigner & Ableton, plus live analog edits using Kinect & a CRT TV. 2nd Installation: Displayed glowing textile \"flags,\" kaftans, & upcycled boots, incorporating Afro-Fashion into my portfolio, highlighted by a video of my Tanzania materials excursion.
