   Based out of Charlotte, NC - Responsible for CapEx project management, disaster and emergency facility response covering a portfolio of 120+ properties across the major NC/SC market. The CapEx role entails property asset surveys, scope of work creation, RFP phase, bid/scope evaluations, scheduling, project management, work validation, vendor management and administration. Focus on value engineering and tailoring each project to the specific needs of each property and the overall company budgetary constraints. Scopes mainly focusing on roofing, paving, door replacements, paint, fencing, security upgrades, electrical, waterproofing and company rebranding initiatives. In addition to annual CapEx project load, the position requires construction and labor response to emergencies such as hurricanes, floods, fires and unit break ins across the entire country. Other functions of the job include: Acquisition - Capital assessments of potential acquisition properties and subsequent conversion to Public Storage brand. Rebranding - Holistically updating the portfolio to company rebranding initiatives. Solar Upgrades - Coordination amongst various trades to repair roofs and install solar power systems across enterprise to offset energy costs.
