ABOUT TOMAS LINDH

Now working at Swedish Television SVT after almost twenty years at Yle in Finland. At Yle I was one of the Head of Programme for the on-demand service Yle Areena/Arenan, working with new ways and forms of publishing to tackle the shift from linear to on-demand. Prior to that I worked as Head of Development during Yle\'s transformation from broadcast to on-demand and online. I have spent most of my career exploring and understanding how digitalisation is changing our content, the way we develop new content and the increasing importance of using multiple platforms as well as the audience for outreach, storytelling and engagement. Over the past ten years I\'ve developed and produced/directed more than ten major Nordic co-productions, many with strong cross media elements and publishing plans for outreach. At SVT I\'m currently working as executive producer, with a focus on content-development and online-publishing.Outside of the development work I regularly hold workshops and keynotes on cross-media developing, publishing and audience engagement, as well as case-studies of my own projects.
