Assess Romanian acquisitions regulations, staff, and current operating procedures, with the aim of evaluating the success and gaps of the existing acquisitions process and develop ways to optimize operations and communication with acquisitions stakeholders.• Assist the Romanian MOD with developing more efficient and effective processes for acquisition, procurement, and contracting.• Participate in current and evolving ministerial decision-making processes and work to identify solutions to legal, procedural, organizational, and logistical issues.• Use lessons learned from U.S, NATO, and other Allied nation defense processes to propose best practices to Romanian defense leadership.• Act as trusted advisor to Romanian defense leadership regarding acquisition transformation issues.• Complete a gap analysis and landscape assessment of the Romanian defense acquisition process, and lead staff in developing a strategic roadmap and country action plan to reform the system.
