About Tom Yeung-Aws-Csaazure

Tom is an experienced technology professional, with extensive experience in information security and information technology auditing and risk management. Currently a Senior Vice President in Cybersecurity Risk at Truist, Tom is responsible for leading technology and security oversight. Prior to Truist, Tom was head of Cyber audit at Discover/CapitalOne, SVP at Goldman Sachs, and a director at American Express and performed 3rd line of defense audits and 2nd line cybersecurity oversight activities including security incident management, threat intelligence, vulnerability/patch management and IT areas such as change management, application development, release management, enterprise resilience, and others. Tom was also a senior audit team manager responsible for cyber and infrastructure audits in the internal audit technology division at Charles Schwab and an IT audit manager at Fannie Mae. He also has prior experience in Internal Audit, first line technology, and Program/Project Manager at Citigroup/Travelers Insurance where he helped lead several application and infrastructure audits and projects. Tom started his career as a member of the Information Technology Leadership Development Program at Travelers Insurance and graduated with a focus in project management and has completed several large-scale programs and projects.Tom is a graduate from Louisiana State University and also has an MBA with a concentration in Management Information Systems. Tom also holds a graduate certification from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Cornell University. Tom is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Project Management Professional (PMP), and has a Certificate in Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK) and Amazon Web Services Cloud Certification Professional (AWS CCP).
