   Flex Circuit Design Company is the foremost service bureau in the western USA specializing in flex circuit and rigid-flex design. We have been in business since 1992.We offer our customers that unusual understandingof both the mechanical properties of flex circuitsand high volume manufacturing, building into our designsthe various manufacturing tolerances needed to produce a good circuit.We use Cadence Allegro, Altium, Electronics Packaging Designer and AutoCAD for our design work.In the past twenty years I have personally designed over one thousand flex and rigid-flex circuits for applications such as fiberoptics, disk drives, medical equipment, telecommunications, military/aerospace and many other applications. Many of these circuits require leading-edge manufacturing methods such as additive circuitry, laser processing and microvias, as well as assembly technologies such as flip-chip and chip-on-flex.I also was part of the team that worked on the flex circuitry for the Mars Curiosity Rover - I reviewed the gerber files for the flex circuits and created the gerber files for about a dozen of the flex circuits in the rover.IPC CID certified designer - 2015.October 2014 to present - Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) Flex Circuit Design Company is part of the team working with MIT, providing pcb design services, pcb design reviews and project management services for the focal plane circuit boards for TESS. It\'s main goal is to search for planets that orbit the brightest stars near the Earth. TESS is scheduled to launch in August 2017.IPC CID+ certified designer - 2016
