ABOUT TOM WILLIAMS
My work focuses on helping technology companies turn complex products into clear strategy, compelling narratives, and effective go-to-market programs.Over 20+ years I’ve worked across product, strategy, and marketing roles, from early hands-on work in digital platforms to strategic consulting for global technology companies including Google, AWS, Qualcomm, and J.P. Morgan.Today I’m CEO of Catchy, a global developer marketing and technical go-to-market agency. We work with some of the world’s most influential technology platforms to shape positioning, developer journeys, ecosystem strategy, and full-funnel technical marketing programs. My background combines research, strategy, and storytelling. I believe the strongest go-to-market strategies emerge from understanding three things deeply: the product, the industry, and the audience, and in translating those insights into clear decisions and practical execution.I hold an MSc in Social Science of the Internet from Oxford, where I explored how AI ethics translates into real-world strategy, along with an MA in Creative Writing and a BA in Philosophy. Earlier in my career I worked as a literary agent, which continues to shape how I approach storytelling, co-creation, and my affinity for the Oxford comma.I always enjoy exchanging ideas with others working at the intersection of technology, strategy, and storytelling.
