As Assistant Store Manager -Support I am responsible for the management of non selling areas within a big box environment which includes both front end and back end operational departments. These areas are vital to facilitating our ability to drive sales and provide exceptional customer service. From the time product enters the store, flows to the sales floor, and is ultimately delivered to the customer, we operate efficiently and effectively to produce outstanding business results while satisfying the needs of our customers. Throughout my time at Lowe’s I have held several positions. Starting as a Millwork department manager I had the responsibility of overseeing a business exceeding $5M in annual sales. This was done with precise inventory controls as well as leading a team of sales associates to build relationships and take care of customers. I also spent many years as a Sales Manager, leading a team of Specialists to meet and exceed sales targets for Special Orders, Installed Sales, and in Commercial Sales. Through coaching and communication I was able to guide the sales team to many consecutive years of positive sales growth for our store.
