    Conduct training and evaluations of aviators to determine abilities to perform duties as an aviator, instructor, or examiner in accordance with the UH60 air crew training manual (ATM). Conduct oral examinations to determine if the aviator has a working knowledge and understanding of applicable topics and subject areas in accordance with established regulations and publications, operating limitations and restrictions, aircraft emergency procedures, aeromedical factors, aerodynamics, tactical mission tasks, and night tasks. Conduct crew briefings before and after training flights to provide clear instruction and recommendations for improvement. Conduct Instrument and Examiner duties that involve training and evaluating rated pilots, instructors or instrument examiners in advanced techniques and procedures for rotary wing aircraft using instruments which include; training in instrument flight planning, precision handling and maneuvering of the aircraft, and instrument flight using aircraft navigational instruments and systems in conjunction with air navigational aids, area navigation, air traffic control operations and procedures, and pilot interface with those tasks. Instruct in instrument approach and departure procedures, holding procedures, and use of instrument landing systems. Conduct periodic proficiency flights in the simulator to maintain pilot skills necessary to demonstrate flight techniques and procedures to aviators during training. Oversee operation of the UH60 Blackhawk Aircrew Trainer (BAT).
