As a Flight Simulator Training Instructor (Instrument Examiner) at Army Civilian Service, I leverage my 20 years of experience and credentials in military and civilian aviation to train and evaluate aviators in accordance with the UH60 air crew training manual. I hold a commercial pilot license with rotorcraft helicopter and instrument helicopter ratings, as well as a UH60 helicopter pilot rating and an instrument flight examiner rating from the US Army.My core competencies include flight instruction, flight simulation, quality assurance, and training management. I have developed and monitored training plans, policies, and scenarios for over 200 employees, ensuring alignment with the organizational goals and best practices. I have also reviewed and analyzed the content and relevance of training materials, and facilitated learning experiences for individuals and groups based on needs assessment. I am passionate about enhancing the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of flight operations and training through simulation and evaluation.

1. Flight Simulator Training Instructor (Instrument Examiner)

   Conduct training and evaluations of aviators to determine abilities to perform duties as an aviator, instructor, or examiner in accordance with the UH60 air crew training manual (ATM). Conduct oral examinations to determine if the aviator has a working knowledge and understanding of applicable topics and subject areas in accordance with established regulations and publications, operating limitations and restrictions, aircraft emergency procedures, aeromedical factors, aerodynamics, tactical mission tasks, and night tasks. Conduct crew briefings before and after training flights to provide clear instruction and recommendations for improvement. Conduct Instrument and Examiner duties that involve training and evaluating rated pilots, instructors or instrument examiners in advanced techniques and procedures for rotary wing aircraft using instruments which include; training in instrument flight planning, precision handling and maneuvering of the aircraft, and instrument flight using aircraft navigational instruments and systems in conjunction with air navigational aids, area navigation, air traffic control operations and procedures, and pilot interface with those tasks. Instruct in instrument approach and departure procedures, holding procedures, and use of instrument landing systems. Conduct periodic proficiency flights in the simulator to maintain pilot skills necessary to demonstrate flight techniques and procedures to aviators during training. Oversee operation of the UH60 Blackhawk Aircrew Trainer (BAT).
