ABOUT TOM SWEENEY

I am a Senior Manager at FRP Advisory in the restructuring and financial advisory team. I work with businesses to aid them in identifying suitable solutions and provide advice in challenging situations. During my time in restructuring I have worked on a variety of engagements including cash flow analysis, contingency planning, options analysis and independent business reviews. Additionally, I have worked on large administrations and CVA’s of well-known high street retail and restaurant brands. Prior to FRP, I was a Manager at Kroll and before that I worked within KPMG’s restructuring and advisory team with a focus on national markets.I initially joined KPMG as a school leaver in 2012 in the audit practice. I primarily spent my time working in the public sector based in the North West. During this time I obtained a solid understanding of business, processes, risk and controls, financials and reporting. I am CPI (Certificate of Proficiency Insolvency) qualified, a member of the ICAEW and have a Bsc in Accountancy from Durham University.
