ABOUT TOM SOARES
Tom is a voice, performance and public speaking coach and trainer. He has been teaching introductory to advanced courses in performance and voice for the Department of Theatre and Film at the University of Winnipeg since 2011; one of his courses focuses on the use of the voice and body in a variety of performative and public speaking endeavors. He can help you or your organization to improve overall communication, voice, presence and public speaking skills. Tom uses a combination of voice and speech skills, best practices in public speaking, theatrical training, and rhetoric to help his clients to achieve greater clarity, confidence, memorability and audience rapport. He has worked with reporters from CTV and Global News and has taught workshops and seminars for the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, the University of Manitoba\'s External Relations and Deans, the Winnipeg School Division, Civil Service Commission (MB), the University of Winnipeg and with countless professionals.
