I’ve always had the drive to build a team and aspired to leadership positions. After successfully working for other landscaping firms in the U.S. and U.K, I decided it was time to create something to nurture and grow.That initiative became Sun Power Lawn Care, Gainesville’s premier landscaping firm with a reach extending into nearby communities such as Newberry and Hawthorne.With Sun Power Lawn Care, I wanted to create something unique yet with a tailored social focus. That’s why from day one we committed to purchasing all electric equipment. This not only reduces emissions but also makes for an incredibly quiet lawn care experience. As a managing owner, I:Manage all day-to-day of running the business;Perform quality control inspections;Take care of all administrative items;Ensure our advertising and marketing are on brand;Maintain accurate records and future planning, and;Deal with any operational or logistical issues that may arise. Our efforts and commitment to our community was one (of many) reasons we were nominated as a finalist for the Gainesville Chamber of Commerce’s Commitment to the Environment award in 2022.
