I graduated from University of Portsmouth in 2008 with an engineering geology and geotechnics degree.I started working in Fugro supporting the offshore oil and gas, and renewables energy sectors. I initially worked as part of the data aquisition department, and then the consultancy team, gaining experience of offshore site investigation, laboratory data reporting, design parameter derivation and geotechnical engineering.I also spent time working for the Fugro land division, fulfilling similar data acquisition roles supporting onshore UK infrastructure and again renewables.I now work for Orsted as part of the geotechnical site assessment team.
