Tom Smith is a Principal and director of Electrical Engineering at Page Southerland Page\'s Houston Office. With over 30 years of project management and multidisciplinary design experience, he has worked a wide variety of projects from large infrastructure projects to small office fit outs. He is an independent thinker with a thorough multi-disciplinary understanding of the design and construction process, which allows him to manage and shape the design, while encouraging innovation, leading to efficient, cost effective solutions to meet client needs.Tom has successfully led design teams for over 20 years in delivering on budget solutions for both infrastructure and building sectors projects.His most recent experience has included project and design package management, but over the course of his career has included field engineering in a construction management role, leading design teams and peer reviews in a QAQC role.
