I lead design at platform scale, operating at the intersection of design, product, and engineering.I’m currently Senior Director of Design for Condé Nast’s global Publishing Platform, where I’m responsible for the systems, tools, and front-end experiences that support thousands of editors and some of the world’s most recognised brands.My approach is grounded in clarity and judgment. I don’t assume I know the user or the answer. I rely on user insight, data, and technical understanding to reduce business uncertainty and make better decisions. In practice, this means moving platforms from passive enablers to active business drivers through clearer standards, simpler delivery paths, and experience quality that supports engagement, monetisation, and trust.I’m known for operating calmly in complex environments, leading through change, and creating high-trust conditions where teams can do their best work. I value ego-free collaboration, direct communication, and shared ownership over individual heroics.My work centres on roles where design operates at system level, partners credibly with executive leadership, and delivers measurable value for both users and the business.Alongside my core role, I chair Condé Nast’s Accessibility Champions Group, mentor emerging design leaders, and speak on platform design, inclusive design, and scaling quality.
