About Tom Sherrard
I love to solve puzzles. Through my work, I look at problems in healthcare and build product-centered solutions that positively impact health plans and patients. My journey in healthcare starts in graduate school where I was first exposed to the complex dynamics of the U.S. healthcare system. I graduated with an MBA in Healthcare Management from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management. From there, I cut my teeth on the payor-side of healthcare, learning how the system works and where we can create a better experience for patients.During my career, I have found that I gravitate to roles where I can solve hard problems by building and innovating. That’s why I love working in product development. I have a track record of driving revenue growth for both mature and early-stage programs. With extensive healthcare business experience, I create value through product, operations, and P&L management. As might be expected from someone with a liberal arts degree, I love reading and acquiring knowledge across a wide-range of subjects. Additionally, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two elementary age children. And of course, I don’t just like to solve puzzles at work. I’m a big fan of crossword puzzles.
