As the Global Head of Timberland Investment at Manulife Investment Management, I oversee our timberland business. A seasoned leader of people and organizations and a manager of business functions, I thrive in an environment of significant opportunity for change, growth, purpose, and value. As part of my primary functions, I am responsible for P&L, business growth and corporate strategy. Additionally, I enable and guide our team’s efforts including organizational leadership, governance, acquisitions, dispositions, investment underwriting, client account and portfolio management, economic research, and timberland operations. I am proud to serve in leadership roles in the following capacity: Chair of Timberland Transactions Committee and member of Natural Resource Investment Committee, Chairman of board for certain investor-owned entities in Australia and Chile, continued service as board member and member of remuneration and HSE committees for multiple investor-owned entities and directly owned subsidiaries around the world. In support of the broader industry, I also serve as Vice Chair for the National Alliance of Forest Owners.Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors. Whether in the forest, the field, or on the water, I am renewed by nature. Some of my favorite activities are watersports, hunting, fishing, hiking, and farming.
