From a global perspective, I look to optimize processes to reduce cost and waste, while increasing productivity through metrics. I focus on communicating cross-organizationally to understand impacts and benefits of these measures and how they affect companies holistically. Across my career at an international Fortune 500 company (Boeing), I have gained a reputation as a trusted change agent bringing process improvements that break down silos and offer up unconventional ways of thinking that help companies evolve and improve. One of the things I specialize in as an operations executive is developing initiatives rooted in common sense combined with ways that build synergy / buy-in from all internal global business units to achieving common target goals. The biggest asset any company can have are the people that move those goals forward. As a result, I have worked hard to earn trust as a leader who supports staff through empowerment, development, and an accountability culture. In short, I fix policies, procedures, cultures, and manage people to improve productivity while managing the business P&L to contain costs. My sole purpose from an operations standpoint is to cultivate an approachable leadership style that actively removes roadblocks and builds team cohesiveness while valuing staff feedback. Additionally, I am a strategic tactician and internal influencer creating clear-path roadmaps that solve customer pain points and expands the company’s reputation as an industry leader. Using a life-long entrepreneurial approach first instilled while growing up on a family-run farm, today I enjoy improving companies and leaving them in a more successful position to move forward. The best reward of my work? Making change and seeing how that directly and positively impacts corporate success that continues on sustainably for years to come.
