Level-headed and performance driven automotive engineering leader, working in niche, low-volume and high-performance vehicle programs.Able to lead groups of new people in both team and project work, with a progressive management style. Hard working, knowledgeable and technically accomplished Vehicle Engineering Manager, with a 1st class honours degree, supplemented with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills. Highly self-motivated and comfortable working in varying team roles, with extensive experience working within the motorsport and automotive industries as a team member, supplier, manager and consultant.Currently the Vehicle Engineering Manager for Electrical and Electronic systems for Multimatic. Working closely with Special Vehicle Operations to deliver high quality, high value and high performance niche vehicles. Significant experience with Vehicle testing and development, including high-speed and low-mu driving.Supplemented with extensive industry knowledge and a passion for past and future technologies.Previously a Senior Applications Engineer, deploying vast experience within system design, project management, data acquisition and analysis, system control and calibration, and resource planning within a competitive motorsport framework, whilst pioneering the use of new strategies and technologies in bespoke customer applications under the pressures of a motorsport environment.Author of “Starting On Pole”, providing an insight into the motorsport industry for new engineers.
