About Tom Rezanka

I have been building instrumentation ever since I graduated from college back in 1988, almost 30 years now. Along the way I have added skills in electronic/mechanical/software design and manufacturing adapting these designs to challenging marine environments. My skills have grown over the years to include business development and leadership, strategic and corporate planning, and market analysis. One characteristic that my friends and colleagues know me by is that when I do something or build something; it will be built properly and it will last. It is something that I have taken to heart during my employment at Measurement Technology, driving the Line Control Instrument to a world class leader in applying instrumentation to harsh challenging environments. Our products are built to last, best in class. The group has been so successful that it has evolved to a new stand-alone company, Rugged Controls LLC. Currently I am the president and owner of this group, supported by an incredible team. We will continue to build world class products and solve complicated problems but our brand will change to reflect more of our diverse product portfolio and markets we serve.

   Rugged Controls is an ISO 9001 certified manufacturer of rugged programmable controllers, smart deck machinery sensors, instrumentation, controls and automation equipment used in industries ranging from oil & gas, industrial, oceanographic to mining to construction. Our brand of multivariable controllers is continually selected in mission-critical applications where rugged durability, viewability, accuracy and data acquisition is required. The company has evolved from the LCI group of Measurement Technology to more accurately reflect the diverse market and products we offer. We are a unique mix of being a high end manufacturer, engineering/design group and a service company. Customer support and service are a primary focus for us. As the business leader, I am fortunate to be supported by a group of the talented employees.
