For twenty-nine years, Tom enjoyed a very successful career in banking across the Upstate of South Carolina. Tom’s banking career included retail banking, small business banking, corporate banking, and middle market investment banking. Tom has dealt with privately held companies, publicly traded companies, colleges and universities, non-profits, real estate investors and developers, and numerous franchisors and franchisees. On the financing side, Tom has closed complicated transactions that involved traditional commercial lending, commercial real estate lending, SBA financing, commercial leasing, asset based lending, and tax exempt financing. In addition, he has represented other lines of business including Treasury Management, Insurance, Payroll Services, Merchant Services, Private Banking, Foreign Exchange, Trade Finance, Factoring, Trust, and Residential Mortgage Lending. Over his banking career, Tom worked in the Greenville, Spartanburg, and Easley markets. He has met over business owners. In addition, he has met and done business with over 750 professionals in the legal, real estate, banking, insurance, and accounting fields.
