Regional Depot / Operations Manager with extensive experience overseeing the full day-to-day performance of a regional depot, ensuring business, budgetary, and operational targets are consistently met. Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, I am responsible for implementing strategic objectives, driving profitability, controlling costs, and improving operational efficiencies across the depot.I lead and develop high-performing teams, managing scheduling, engineer productivity, training needs, and HR responsibilities, while fostering a strong culture of health & safety, quality, and accountability. I play a key role in customer and supplier relationship management, handling escalations, enquiries, and long-term account development to support year-on-year growth.My role covers all aspects of depot operations including goods receipting, stock and asset management, ordering of materials and equipment, financial and debt reporting, invoicing, quotations, and proforma customers. I ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS), RAMS, and health & safety standards through regular audits, toolbox talks, and site and vehicle inspections.
