ABOUT TOM OTTEY
Tom is a conscientious and innovative marketer with a natural flair for salesmanship and a passion for all things vegan. He graduated from the University of Nottingham with a first in Physics. After returning from a brief stint teaching English in Japan, he became a Fire Engineer in the fast-paced building industry, working on some of the UK’s premier airports and shopping centres. However, his passion for all things alcoholic proved too powerful and so he embarked on a fifteen-year-long career in the wine and spirits industry, climbing from the shop floor at Oddbins to online specialist at Harvey Nichols via several marketing roles. In the summer of 2023, adventure called once more, heightened by his vegan values. So, he joined I AM NUT OK - the UK’s, and maybe the world’s, finest purveyor of plant-based cheese. In 2025, he moved to Yorkshire and dived into the world of tea.
