ABOUT TOM OSBORNE
MA in Broadcast/Journalism. Former freelance sports reporter for Atlantic FM covering the Cornish Pirates. Have also written articles in my younger days for Boxing News. Former Committee Member and presenter at Truro Hospital Radio. Spent two years working for Lloyds Bank in which time we won the South West Branch of the month award. Also have an extensive history within Customer Service/Sales. CPCAB Level 2 qualified counsellor, with plans to complete diploma. ILM trained Team Leader. 10 years with Cornwall Council including spells in Revenues, Democratic Services, Planning and Customer Services where I helped introduce the new complaints system within the merged structure. I also ran the Councillor Hotline during its existence providing information to new Members. Currently working for Cornwall Council in the Telecare/Telehealth department. Within this 24/7 service I work with our service users to ensure they can stay at home safely. In addition to promoting the service at events where needed.
