About Tom Oneill
I have been with McMurray Stern since 1981. I have been the RME for our Class B Contractors License at McMurray Stern since 1985 and have performed many roles throughout my career here. Currently, I serve as the Vice President of Construction Services, and also as the Company\'s Chief Safety Officer and I sit on the Executive Management Team. After 34 years in the industry, I am an expert in all facets of the storage industry including the library, business, museum, government, and healthcare markets. During my time at McMurray Stern, the company has installed over $600 Million dollars of products and services. As a licensed general contractor I have experience in new commercial and residential construction including tenant improvements and remodeling. I enforce State and local government construction standards including Building Code Compliance on all projects. Conduct extensive Pre-Qualification of capabilities to perform as a Subcontractor to various General Contractors. I support Construction Business Development initiatives via multiple channels including local trade shows, associations and project research. I develop and enforce company-wide standards in order to consistently acquire City, County, State (DSA) & (OSHPD) building permits. I work with Structural Engineers on permit related projects. I also prepare architectural specifications for Architects. I have published two papers on code compliance as it relates to the storage industry. Currently also serving as the Construction Business Development Manager striving to establish working relationships with General Contractors as well as Architects and Designers. I am also a proud member of the Board of Directors of the American Subcontractors Association (ASA) LA/OC/IE Chapter and also a member of AIAOC.
