My career started with Travis Perkins in 1998 as a Management Trainee. After completing the scheme I quickly progressed taking up various branch management roles in different locations and during my time was fortunate enough to pick up branch of the year awards in two branches. In July 2018 I joined Buildbase taking up the role Regional manager as a logical step in furthering my career. Following the acquisition of Buildbase by Huws Gray in July 2021, I shortly moved into position as Area Director now covering branches in Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire. I am consistently working towards achieving and exceeding sales targets at optimum margins, empowering and developing colleagues to achieve their business objectives and their full potential. Creating and maintaining a loyal customer base and providing a first class service is crucial, whilst driving the business forward, maintaining high standards of health and safety in the workplace at all times.I consider my strengths to be people management, listening, motivating and engaging my team to succeed.
