Working in four rural elementary schools assisting home-room teachers with English learning activities, lesson planning, communicative learning, and cross-cultural exchange.Creating and leading games and lessons for children ages 4-11 to improve English speaking and listening skills.Participating and volunteering with school events and extra-curricular club activities.Adapting to the different work and social norms in Japan and learning Japanese to build closer relationships with my students and colleagues.
