Worked my way through college working the night-shift at Consulting Engineers, Inc where I learned CAD and MEP Design for large national retailer. After graduation from TU, joined Willbros/Butler Engineering as a Control and Power System Engineer performing design-build of natural gas compressor stations for the Great Lakes Gas Pipeline projects. The challenge in gas related design-build projects for a young engineer was the one-way ticket offered to the middle of no-where to solve the problems in the field during construction. Once solved they would send your return ticket back. Highly motivating method of problem solving!Offered job at BSW to continue my skills in building power system design and engineering working on the \"New Client Team\" and enjoyed the challenges of teaming on large national retailer projects and traveled across much of the US in assisting in the construction of these designs.Joined forces with Gayle Gwinup of Gwinup Engineering in to form Allied Engineering Group and have balanced engineering and business management since.
