About Tom Marcincavage
Seasoned management professional with an extremely diverse skill-set and innate engineering abilities. My experience is primarily in plastic/polymer products and ranges from technical sales and product development thru all levels of manufacturing operations.My recent experience includes serving as Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc.(05.2019 - Present), a Fortune 500 American manufacturer of industrial tools. In this role, I am responsible for plant and facilities management activities, managing manufacturing engineers, and interface with multiple remote product design groups during NPD and launch. Prior to this role, I served as Tooling Manager at Adler Pelzer (12••••••••19), a worldwide leader in the design, engineering and manufacturing of acoustic and thermal components. In this role, I managed all aspects of new tool builds from tool specification; thru part/tool DFM reviews, build/launch coordination and approval, as well as all EC/PM of existing tooling in an operation of mixed processes. Before this, I held multiple technical roles over 18 years with Meggitt PLC (specializing in composite sub-systems for the aerospace and defense), EDAC Technologies (specializing in rotating/static composite components for aerospace engine applications), and Parkway Products (specializing in plastic and composite components for multiple industries including aerospace and defense)- all of which were the same organization/facilities under various ownership.
