As a non-executive board member at STEP, I play an integral part in supporting the Leadership Team, offering strategic direction and ensuring the company is best placed to support local SMEs. I have a particular interest in trading internationally and business connectivity. STEP is Central Scotland’s Business Support Organisation and since 1983 we\'ve been ‘Keeping it Central’… By providing a unique business ecosystem where businesses can start, grow, and scale in a supportive, innovative and sustainable environment, all whilst investing 100% of what we generate into activity designed to grow the local economy. Because if Central Scotland is successful, so are we. On behalf of the Scottish Government, we also deliver the Business Gateway services across Stirling, a contract that has been held by STEP since Business Gateway’s inception.
