About Tom Maguire

With over 30 years in Law Enforcement and 9 additional years active duty Military I can be considered the ultimate team player. I am a self-starter who likes to get the job done with little or minimal supervision. I have vast experience in a wide amount of talents. From Nuclear Engineering, Submarines, Quality Control, Motorcycles, Law Enforcement, Dignitary Protection, Public Relations to Labor Relation skills. During my tenure in Labor relations I was instrumental in Legislative Bill analysis and have experiences in state government testifying to bills and lobbying the effort at the state capitol. I served as Public Information Officer for several years and have vast media relations knowledge, on- camera experience, public relations and community organizing skills. I was instrumental in the organization and implementation of many school-related safety programs. In addition, I have served as a valuable instructor, I instructed my field of water chemistry and radiological controls as a staff pick-up instructor at Nuclear Power Training Unit in the USN. I was one of the first Child Safety Seat Instructors (certified by NHTSA) on the California Highway Patrol certifying hundreds of technicians on and off the department. I achieved a California P.O.S.T. level 3 (advanced) Instructor Certificate and facilitated many other classes.
