About Tom Lulinski
As a Senior Mechanical Engineering student at Northern Illinois University, I am passionate about applying my engineering skills to real-world problems and solutions. I have been involved in the Formula SAE team, where I designed safety harness mounts using SolidWorks and operated various machine shop tools. I have also maintained a high academic performance, earning the Dean\'s List recognition every semester. In addition, I have gained valuable experience in the manufacturing industry through two internships at Logisnext, a forklift manufacturing company. In the Current Product Engineering group, I improved my proficiency with Creo and Windchill, creating a new forklift pillar and engineering change orders. In the New Product Development department, I collaborated with different teams to design a sheet metal bracket, conduct a hydraulic test, and research electrification. These internships have enhanced my engineering design and PLM skills, as well as my ability to work in cross-functional teams. After interning at Woodward, I have gained experience working as a mechanical engineer in the aerospace industry. I have expanded on my data analysis skills learning SAP BusinessObjects for my project. I also improved my proficiency in Windchill by implementing an engineering change.
