About Tom Kirk

In a business where jumping from job to job and agency to agency is the norm, Tom is the exception to that rule. Tom started his career in 1978 at Needham, Harper and Steers/West, which became RPA in 1986. Doing the math, Tom has been with the agency for 36 years. When he started his career, Tom made a commitment to himself that he would never stay in a job where he didn’t feel motivated, where he wasn’t having fun or where he was blocked from doing great work. That commitment and Tom’s longevity is a testament to the uniqueness of RPA. Tom has a wide range of experience including Charles Schwab & Co, American Century Investments, The Disney Channel, The Disney Store, Disney Consumer Products, Squirt soft drinks, Pioneer Electronics, SOYJOY Nutrition Bars, YES! Entertainment, L.A. Kings and Getty Museum. He currently oversees Farmers Insurance, La-Z-Boy, Intuit Small Business, ARCO, ampm convenience stores, Apartments.com, CoStar Group, Tempur+Sealey, Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, Delano Las Vegas and the Los Angeles Clippers. Tom believes that life is better with a little country music, some good barbecue and a cold beer.
