ABOUT TOM KING
As a Strategic Expansion Manager at Worldpay, I help develop expansion strategy within EMEA. I analyse key EMEA markets for geographic expansion, and evaluate innovative new payment methods to integrate into Worldpay\'s solution to maximise our merchant offerings. I have a passion for integrating data into decision-making and utilise analytical skills gained from my MSc to deliver accurate analysis to guide Worldpay\'s expansion decisions.I have a BSc degree in Business Management from the University of Birmingham, and I am pursuing a Master\'s degree in Business Analytics from Birkbeck, University of London, to enhance my data-driven decision making skills. I have over 6 years of experience in project and product management, with a track record of leading successful teams and delivering value to customers and stakeholders. Some of my achievements include leading a multi-national RPA development team that automated over 1.5 million records, delivering over £10m in assured revenue; creating APIs for real-time federation of merchant data using Kafka, Kubernetes, and AWS, enabling new SMB merchants to onboard to Worldpay systems in under 10 minutes; and completing short courses in data analytics and visualization from Imperial College London and Udacity. I thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, where I can learn from the best minds in the industry and contribute to the continuous delivery of value.
