Working across the LNN to involve several sites across the Yorkshire region to produce original content, breaking news, reaction and long-form journalism.Supply Live journalists to breaking news, utilise wider team to help with big breaking news stories. Command breaking news across England’s biggest geographical county, reacting quickly to news with conviction. Work with large and small newsrooms to help produce original content to loyal audiences. Help boost subscriptions with original content and forward planning ideas. Plan around big events, enhancing viewer experience with videos, photo stories, need to know, hero articles and explainers.Help train reporters to senior standard with coaching, helpful tips and advice. My new role involves taking on four trainees and line managing five employees. My experience in this role has now surpassed six years working as an editor across several editorial leadership roles in the business. I have worked remotely, in large newsrooms and in small newsrooms. I’ve had the opportunity to lead a team of four journalists but also lead a team of 12 journalists - all with the same goal.
