I am the interim lab manager for the Astera Institute\'s central lab location where I develop and run laboratory facilities for BSL1 and BSL2 as well as a food lab and chemistry lab. These lab facilities include creating labs functional for fermentation science, organoids, microbiology and even atmospheric experiments. My responsibilities include handling ordering, setting PAR, EH & S and laboratory and equipment upkeep for multiple teams which share the Astera lab space.
