During my time at WOOD TV8 I have filled a number of different positions since my hire in 2010. I started my career at WOOD as media coordinator where I was responsible for shooting and editing video for our weekend morning newscast. I was also responsible for developing original content for our website. I was also responsible for our social media posts and interaction with viewers though social media as well as e-mail. After filling that position for eight months I was promoted to a Multimedia Journalist position. In that position I am responsible for generating story ideas that fit with our brand. I present those ideas and see them through from conception to completion. I am responsible for writing stories for both on air and online content. I interact with views through social media and e-mails.
