ABOUT TOM GRYLLS

Head of Super Pollutants at the Clean Air Fund where I lead a team and programme of work to accelerate action on short-lived climate pollutants. We are currently delivering a multi-million project to advance awareness and ambition on cutting black carbon emissions. Our work spans research, strategic communications, movement building, advocacy and implementation via both direct delivery and grant making.Prior to my work at the Clean Air Fund, I completed a PhD and worked as a Research Associate at Imperial College London. Thesis title: Simulating air pollution in the urban microclimate. My research work was highly multidisciplinary, encompassing urban sustainability, environmental policy, big data, high performance computing and urban air quality.
